Actor Kim Ho-chang Mourns the Late Lee Yong-ju, "The Brother Who Told Me to Trust His Intuition When I Considered Retiring"

Actor Kim Ho-chang has left a final farewell to his fellow actor, the late Lee Yong-ju, who passed away from a heart attack on August 29. On August 31, Kim released a video through his social media showing him saying goodbye in front of the deceased's portrait alongside acquaintances at Lee Yong-ju's funeral.

Kim added to the emotional weight by recalling the advice Lee Yong-ju gave him when he was once contemplating quitting his acting career. He shared that the deceased gave him unwavering support, saying, "Even if you are the youngest among the Blue Tower family, do not give up and go all the way; my intuition is good, so you will do well." Kim added his determination to follow the deceased's wishes and walk the path of an actor until the end.

Furthermore, Kim prayed for the repose of the deceased, stating, "We promised to have a glass of soju during next month's performance, and I am sad to see you leave like this," and "I hope you are not in pain and are happy there." The two had formed an In-Yun while appearing together in the tvN sitcom 'Blue Tower.'

The late Lee Yong-ju, who passed away at the age of 44, suffered from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy during his lifetime, and it was also revealed that he had disclosed this and received an exemption from military service during his appearance in 'Blue Tower.'
