In the SBS Friday-Saturday Drama 'Chaebol X Detective 2', Jin Yi-soo (played by Ahn Bo-hyun) has been released from detention after being cleared of the suspicion that he murdered his friend Kim Young-hwan (played by Choi Dong-gu). Previously, Jin Yi-soo discovered the deceased Kim Young-hwan in his living room, but he was in a state where his memories of the day of the incident were blurry; he faced a crisis as drugs were detected in his body and a recorded report was secured in which he personally confessed to the murder.
Yu Sŏngwŏn (played by Yoo Seung-ho) increased Jin Yi-soo's confusion and applied psychological pressure during a visit to the detention center, but the Violent Crimes Team 1 continued the investigation by trusting Jin Yi-soo until the end. Joo Hye-ra (played by Jung Eun-chae) secured testimony from singer Go Dan-bi (played by Min Kyoung Ah) through neighborhood inquiries, stating that a suspicious man had broken into Jin Yi-soo's house on the day of the incident.
Ultimately, the Violent Crimes Team 1 broke down the Deep Trap that was entangling him by uncovering the fact that the emergency call received in Jin Yi-soo's voice had been fabricated. Meanwhile, episode 12 of 'Chaebol X Detective 2' will air on September 12 at 9:50 PM.
