The band Cosmic Chips, led by singer Jung Yup, is releasing a new album after 1 year and 2 months.
According to their agency, Cosmic Chips will release their 2nd full-length album 'TASTE' through various online music sites at 6 PM on the 14th.
This album contains 8 songs that capture the members' musical tastes. Along with the title track 'BABY BABE', the album includes 'On Your Dial', 'Lonely, Lovely', 'A Shadow of Love', 'Radio Kid', 'Turn Up the Volume', 'Our Night', and 'Something Good'.
Cosmic Chips is credited on all tracks. 'BABY BABE' is a song inspired by the music of Marvin Gaye in the early 1970s, adding Jung Yup's vocals to vibraphone, sitar, and dry-textured drum playing.
Cosmic Chips is a 5-member band consisting of Jung Yup, Unique Note, Son Deuk-il, Dippinga, and Yoo Ji-hoon. They present music based on soul, funk, and disco from the 1970s and 1980s, and are releasing their 2nd full-length album for the first time in 1 year and 2 months since the single 'Tangly' last August.
