Genesis sponsors Busan International Film Festival for 10th consecutive year... providing about 100 protocol vehicles

Genesis announced on the 7th that it is participating as an official sponsor of the 31st Busan International Film Festival, continuing its partnership for 10 consecutive years. Since joining as a sponsor in 2017, it has supported the expansion of the Korean and Asian film industries.

During the festival period, approximately 100 vehicles, including the GV90, G90, GV80 Hybrid, GV80 Black, and Electrified GV70, will be provided as protocol vehicles for major directors, actors, and officials. At the opening ceremony red carpet on the 6th, the brand deployed the GV90 Neolun, its first ultra-large flagship electrified SUV. The GV90 Neolun will also be exhibited near the main stage of the Busan Cinema Center.

According to media reports, the short film 'Flesh Impact', which celebrates the 100th anniversary of the birth of Marilyn Monroe and received production support from Genesis, will also be screened at the festival. Directed by actor and director Maggie Gyllenhaal, the 17-minute work is set in an audition room where a 100-year-old Marilyn Monroe tells the story of her life.

Dakota Johnson played Marilyn Monroe in her prime, and Ellen Burstyn played the 100-year-old Marilyn Monroe. A Genesis official stated, "We are pleased to present a work we supported in production during the year that celebrates our 10-year partnership with the Busan International Film Festival," adding, "We will convey our brand philosophy by supporting various cultural and artistic activities."
