Singer Ha Hyun-sang announced via a handwritten letter on his official fan cafe that he will enlist for military service in late November. He plans to hold a concert before his enlistment and spend his remaining two months busily.
Singer Ha Hyun-sang will enlist in late November. Ha Hyun-sang announced his enlistment plans by posting a handwritten letter on his official fan cafe on the 14th. He stated, “I will enlist in the military in late November.”
Ha Hyun-sang looked back on this year as a personally eventful period. He wrote that he experienced changes in his musical activities and was busy completing the "blooming" that felt like a postponed assignment as a human being. He continued, “I thought to myself, 'I still don't know much, the path I have to go is still very long.'” He also added that he has been enjoying baseball and comics.
Regarding his enlistment, he explained that it is a time necessary for himself. Ha Hyun-sang wrote, “You probably already expected this. Personally, I think this is a time that is absolutely necessary,” adding, “While fulfilling my national defense duty, I will further discipline my body and mind and return prepared for a wonderful 30s.” He added a joke, saying that while he is looking forward to it, he doesn't want to enlist immediately.
Before his enlistment, he plans to hold a concert and spend the remaining two months busily. Mentioning that he also relies on the support of his fans, he expressed his gratitude, saying he reads the posts on the fan cafe. He also left a greeting to spend the end of the year together, urging fans who visit his performances to dress warmly and be careful not to catch a cold.
Ha Hyun-sang debuted in 2018 with the single ‘Dawn’. He made a name for himself as a member of the group Hoppipolla, which won the JTBC band audition program ‘SuperBand’ in 2019, and has since been active as a solo singer.
