Directed by Seong Jun-hae and written by Na Seung-hyeon, this work depicts a family growth story involving a mother who has dedicated her life to her family, a mother who has lived for herself, and their children who become intertwined.
In the drama, Mimi's three siblings—Kang Da-mi (played by Jung Min-ah), Kang Kang-nam (played by Kang Eun-tak), and Kang Dae-chi (played by Jonghoon Kim)—each live with different concerns, ranging from the youngest adopted daughter to the eldest son who experienced business failure and the second child who grew up as a gifted individual. On the other hand, the three cousins of the Hwanggeumga family—Cha Seung-yoon (played by Dong Ha), Cha Do-yoon (played by bae jee-wan), and Cha Se-na (played by Choi Yu Bin)—each harbor their own desires and goals. The main points of interest include the conflicts and choices faced by the three individuals, including Cha Seung-yoon, who pursues the Truth of an accident from 23 years ago, Cha Do-yoon, who tries to find his own life, and Cha Se-na, who dreams of a fashion brand.
The production team stated that they will depict the process of two families raised in different environments clashing and reconciling to find the true meaning of family. Airing as the successor to ‘Our Happy Days’, this drama is expected to intensely portray the journey of each character as they move toward their dreams and love.
