Seo Eun-soo joins tvN 'Gift'... to play baseball club manager Yoon Seo-jin and work with Kim Woo-bin

Actress Seo Eun-soo has confirmed her appearance in the new tvN drama 'Gift,' meeting the audience once again with a new character.

'Gift' is a work that depicts the story of a former professional baseball pitching coach who gains special abilities after an unexpected accident and is appointed as the manager of a high school baseball team that ranks last nationwide. The directing is handled by Kim Kyu-tae and Ham Seung-hoon, and the screenplay is by Min Jeong, Hae Ju, and Seong-eun. It is based on the baseball webtoon of the same name by author Jeong I-ri-i-ri, which is currently being serialized on Kakao Webtoon.

Who is Yoon Seo-jin?

Seo Eun-soo plays the role of 'Yoon Seo-jin,' a physical education teacher at Deokcheon High School and the baseball club manager. Based on her innate sense of justice and the driving force built through social life, Yoon Seo-jin is a character who moves actively to create an environment where club members can enjoy playing baseball. While clashing with the suddenly appearing manager Jeong Min-yong (played by Kim Woo-bin) on every matter, she adds vitality to the drama by contributing to the baseball club in their own respective ways.

Seo Eun-soo has continued her path without boundaries in genre and character, including the dramas 'Missing: This Is Me', 'Unlock My Boss', 'Chief Detective 1958', and 'Made in Korea', as well as the films 'The Witch: Part 2. In 'Made in Korea Season 2' on Disney+, which is set to be released on September 9, she appears as the grown-up Oh Ye-jin, and in 'Gift', she is expected to showcase another style of acting as Yoon Seo-jin.
