It has been reported that Twice member Nayeon purchased a building and site located in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, for 9.5 billion won.

According to the real estate industry and the certified copy of the real estate register on the 28th, Nayeon signed a sales contract on May 3rd and completed the ownership transfer registration on the 24th of this month. It was confirmed that a collateral mortgage with a maximum bond amount of 10.2 billion won has been established on the property.

The purchased building consists of one basement floor and two ground floors, was expanded in 2010, and has a total floor area of 218.87㎡. The site is located on a corner where two roads meet. Previously, it contained both residential and neighborhood living facilities, but it appears that the usage of the entire building was recently changed to neighborhood living facilities.

Industry experts evaluate that the site possesses excellent conditions for use as a corporate office or commercial facility. Interpretations are also being raised that this purchase was a decision considering the land value and the possibility of future new construction rather than the current rental income of the building.
