UNCORE announced on the 26th that official SNS accounts for EUNHA, SINB, and UMJI have been established. The new account name has been set as ehsbuj, a combination of the three members' names, and the existing group name Viviz was not used.
The agency stated that it will deliver various news and content regarding the artists through the official SNS channel and added that it asks for much interest and support.
UNCORE previously announced that it signed exclusive contracts with EUNHA, SINB, and UMJI on the 5th. However, regarding the group name, the agency explained that while they have continued discussions with the former agency, Big Planet Made Entertainment, to use the existing group name, they have not yet reached a final agreement due to differences in opinion over the proposed conditions.
The agency conveyed that it is considering the option of promoting under a new group name, prioritizing the swift and stable resumption of the three members' activities. Future group names and activity plans will be released sequentially.
In March, Viviz notified Big Planet Made Entertainment of the termination of their exclusive contracts, citing violations of obligations to pay settlements and provide management support, as well as the destruction of the relationship of trust, leading to ongoing legal battles. Subsequently, in June, the 50th Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court (Presiding Judge Lee Sang-hoon) granted all of the injunction requests filed by the three Viviz members against Big Planet Made Entertainment to suspend the validity of the exclusive contracts, and the validity of the exclusive contracts for both sides was suspended until the ruling on the main lawsuit is pronounced.
