The National Day of the Republic of Korea 2026, hosted by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Mumbai, took place in Mumbai, India, on the 23rd, where AOORA was an officially invited performer.
Major figures from the political and business sectors of both Korea and India, along with diplomatic officials, attended the event to celebrate the National Day of the Republic of Korea and reflect on the friendship and exchange between the two nations.
As an artist active in the local region, AOORA sang the Aegukga and the Indian national anthem in succession.
AOORA shared a message stating, "I hope the friendship between Korea and India deepens even further in the future." Rajesh Gawande, the protocol chief for the Government of Maharashtra, expressed gratitude, noting that AOORA performed the songs excellently, despite the fact that the language and pronunciation systems of the Korean and Indian national anthems differ greatly, making them by no means easy for Koreans to master.
