To mark the third anniversary of Ryuichi Sakamoto, the 2026 second-half national tour of the "Ryuichi Sakamoto Tribute," which honors his musical world, will begin on October 31 at the Goyang Aram Nuri Aram Concert Hall in Madu-dong, Goyang, Gyeonggi-do.

This performance series will continue on December 14 at the Lotte Concert Hall in Sincheon-dong, Seoul, and on December 23 at the Seongnam Arts Center Concert Hall in Yatap-dong, Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do. The schedule is introduced as one that will deliver deep emotion to the audience.

This tribute performance was first revealed alongside the bereaved family and agency officials when the Jecheon International Film Music Award was presented to the late composer at the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival in August 2023. Since then, performances have been held at the Lotte Concert Hall in Seoul, SK Artrium in Jeongja-dong, Suwon, and Oryu Art Hall in Oryu-dong, Seoul in 2024; at the IBK Hall at Seoul Arts Center and Lotte Concert Hall in Seocho-dong, Seoul in 2025; and through 2026, performances in Seoul, Busan, Daegu, and Seosan have all recorded sold-out shows.

For this stage, Han Ju-heon, who served as the resident conductor of the Linz State Opera in Austria, will take charge of music direction and piano. Ju Yeon-seon, a former principal cellist of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and current professor at Chung-Ang University, will play the cello, and Ju Yeon-gyeong, currently active as the associate principal first violinist of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, will play the violin.

The concert organizer, Nothing But Chill, announced that they will perform a total of 17 songs on this stage, including "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence," "The Last Emperor," "Rain," "Opus," "Aqua," and new songs being introduced for this year's performances. The organizer stated, "Although three years have passed since the maestro departed, his music still lives and breathes beside us," adding that the performers, who have continued the legend of sold-out shows, will deliver warm comfort and emotion.
