Wavve BL Drama ‘Summer Season’ Begins with Subtle Emotions Between Childhood Friends of 19 Years

Episodes 1 and 2 of Wavve's new BL drama ‘Summer Season’ were released on the 28th. The drama begins with Cha Do-hyun (Seong In-ho), who has been childhood friends with Yeo Eun-ho (Kim Do-min) for 19 years, realizing his feelings for him and being unable to hide his growing heart.

After waking up from a dream where he has a relationship with Yeo Eun-ho, Cha Do-hyun encounters Yeo Eun-ho, who has just arrived at his house. The two show a closeness typical of long-time friends, exchanging jokes even on their way to school. While hiding together under a podium on a rainy day, Cha Do-hyun feels a different emotion toward Yeo Eun-ho as he looks up at him, and subsequently tries to distance himself by acting coldly.

A change occurs between the two when a transfer student appears in Yeo Eun-ho's class. After Yeo Eun-ho helps the transfer student, who was being bullied, the two become close, and Cha Do-hyun, watching this, shows wariness by saying, “Isn't it time you started choosing your friends?” He even keeps Yeo Eun-ho by his side under the pretext of lending him gym clothes to keep an eye on the transfer student.

As Yeo Eun-ho and the transfer student grow closer, Cha Do-hyun's jealousy deepens. Upon discovering a photo of the two together, Cha Do-hyun heads straight to Yeo Eun-ho's house and meets the transfer student separately to warn him, "Don't touch him," revealing the possessiveness he had hidden until now. When the transfer student asks, “You like Yeo Eun-ho, don't you? Or can I like him?”, Cha Do-hyun replies, “Don't interfere. He's mine,” concluding the first episode.

‘Summer Season’ is a work that depicts the relationship between Cha Do-hyun and Yeo Eun-ho, who have been childhood friends for 19 years, as it begins to shake starting from one summer. Two episodes will be released sequentially every Friday at midnight through Wavve.
