As the SBS Friday-Saturday Drama 'Chaebol X Detective 2' (produced by Studio S, Big Ocean E&M, and BA Entertainment) continues its high viewership ratings, title role Ahn Bo-hyun is driving the hit momentum with his upgraded charm and character portrayal.
The Jin Yi-su portrayed by Ahn Bo-hyun is a chaebol detective who breaks the existing framework of investigations based on immense wealth, and in this season, he has evolved into a character with "top-tier sociability" who is easygoing and kind. He is being evaluated as capturing the hearts of viewers by adding a deep, warm nature behind his bluster and annoying side.
The 'one team' chemistry between Jin Yi-su and his colleagues in the Violent Crimes Team 1 is also cited as a key watching point. Jin Yi-su, who was an object of suspicion in Season 1, now stands at the center of the teamwork, and he is even shown becoming submissive to Team Leader Joo Hye-ra (played by Jung Eun-chae), who used to grumble, and expressing disappointment when they do not go to a team dinner together.
Ahn Bo-hyun's styling changes also draw attention. While Season 1 focused mainly on flashy and classic suit looks, 'Chaebol X Detective 2' presents diverse looks by adding sensible and casual elements, and includes changes in outfits tailored to investigation situations, such as Mexican Mariachi attire and a street-style look.
In the preview for episode 7, which will air on the 28th, a scene is revealed where Jin Yi-su aims a long gun while dressed in flashy magician attire, raising expectations for the broadcast.
