ARTMS HaSeul releases new song ‘Afterglow’... adding jazz and rock to city pop
ARTMS member HaSeul has released her new single 'Afterglow,' a track that blends city pop with jazz and rock elements.
HaSeul of the girl group ARTMS released her new single ‘Afterglow’ through global music platforms on the 8th. According to her agency, this new song expresses scattered hearts that could not reach their destination, using the metaphor of starlight that travels hundreds of millions of light-years only to perish before finally arriving.
In this work, HaSeul presented a new attempt by combining jazz and rock genres beyond the existing city pop style. In particular, she expanded her musical spectrum by handling not only sorrowful vocals but also rap parts that she had not previously shown. Meanwhile, ARTMS recently released the mini album ‘Hyper-Ego’ and is continuing their world tour ‘Art of BLUE BLOOD’ starting with performances in Seoul.
