Are there creatures that engage in showdowns with wild boars in Bukhansan every night? The production team headed to Bukhansan to meet these brave fellows. After checking with hikers, they learned that the dogs that hunt wild boars live at Insuam Hermitage. The problem is that cars cannot reach the location, so one must hike unconditionally. Contrary to expectations that they would be imposing, the children met after a 40-minute hike are incredibly innocent. Even in front of the production team, whom they are meeting for the first time, they wag their tails to show friendliness. There is the mother 'Ami', who would follow even a thief if they were a person, along with her three puppies; 'Banya', who guards the Buddhist hall with a cute appearance; and 'Haetal', who is being treated for a skin disease. All six live at a Bukhansan temple with a monk. How did they come to live with a monk in a national park where pet dogs are not allowed to enter?
How the star dogs of Bukhansan live in a national park
There are many abandoned dogs in Bukhansan. The children of Insuam Hermitage were also abandoned dogs in Bukhansan before meeting the monk. Banya was abandoned at the temple 6 years ago, Ami wandered for 1 year before being rescued 2 years ago, and Haetal was abandoned in a parking lot with a skin disease. While wandering the mountains, they happened to meet the monk, and after the monk took them in, they became the Insuam Dog Family. Ami's puppies are the offspring of Insu, who was the master of the temple. The three siblings are named 'Inbong', 'Subong', and 'Baekbong', taking their names from the peaks of Bukhansan. However, living as dogs in a national park means there are more things to endure than expected. First is following the hikers' entry times. During the entry hours, they must stay in the eco-friendly dog kennels made by the monk. Second is enduring civil complaints. Ami and her three puppies receive complaints because, although they like people, they are quite large. Banya also receives complaints from hikers visiting the temple due to barking. However, there is another even bigger problem... What is the incident that gives the monk a headache?
A life-threatening showdown with wild boars! Children exposed to danger
In Bukhansan, many wild animals such as raccoons and water deer live alongside stray dogs. In particular, it is a place that requires special caution regarding the appearance of wild boars. The problem is that entry times are limited, and the children fight with wild boars during the time they enjoy their freedom. Due to fights spanning several years, the children are covered in wounds that have torn their bellies and even threatened their lives. Furthermore, because they live halfway up the mountain, it is not easy to go to a hospital. Despite the monk's worries, the moment a wild boar appears around the temple, Ami, Inbong, Subong, and Baekbong all rush toward the wild boar without hesitation. They are exposed to dangerous situations every day. The best method is to conduct night patrols every day to chase away wild animals. In the process, they became the star dogs of Bukhansan by guiding hikers and even rescuing lost people. Can the Insuam family live in coexistence with wild boars in Bukhansan?
"Because of my poor physical strength... it's already hopeless" Will Seol Ssaem's special house call be successful?
Seol Ssaem set out to meet the children living halfway up the mountain. However, after only 7 minutes of hiking, Seol Ssaem declared his resignation, saying, "It's already hopeless." However, he challenges himself to complete the trek to the temple as if he were traversing Jirisan Mountain; what will Seol Ssaem look like upon completion? Arriving at Insuam Hermitage after a 40-minute hike, the first thing to greet Seol Ssaem is the sikhye made by the monk. After cooling down, the children, who also welcome Seol Ssaem warmly, finally begin the special house call. Re-checking Banya's age, who suffers from asthma, checking the bladder inflammation of the children who hold their bowel movements for 16 hours, and checking the health of the children who fight wild boars! Solutions are prescribed for the children living alongside Bukhansan.
