EBS will premiere the new children's history content for the AI era, , on the 28th at 6:30 PM on EBS 1TV.

is a history animation that explains the lives of major figures who brightened Korean history from Gojoseon to the Joseon Dynasty and the historical moments they created, from a child's perspective. Silla clay figures 'Deongi' and 'Kwaengi', which were on display in a museum, travel through time to historical sites to meet historical figures in person and experience the moments of historical events we know right before their eyes.

From an era of memorizing history to an era of entering into history

Covering the growth process of 'King Sejong' as the first story

The first protagonist of the historical journey taken with Deongi and Kwaengi is 'King Sejong', one of the most beloved figures in our history.

The program does not focus on the achievements of King Sejong that we already know, but follows the growth process of the person who made those achievements, showing the image of 'Human King Sejong' that was hidden behind the 'great achievements'. It examines how the young prince King Sejong, who loved reading, became a king, and why he created science for the people, expanded the borders, and even created new letters.

After finishing their museum visit, Deongi and Kwaengi wake up in the exhibition hall at night, look at the 'Angbuilgu' artifact newly entered into the Joseon gallery, and are suddenly caught in a sudden vortex of time, falling into a Joseon palace and meeting a boy. It is the prince, King Sejong, who loved books so much that he skipped meals and stayed up all night.

The story follows the process of a boy who was not destined to be king unexpectedly ascending the throne and growing into a king bit by bit while agonizing before numerous choices and responsibilities.

130 episodes over 26 weeks... A time travel connecting Gojoseon to Joseon

The first story of , the 'King Sejong' series, will be broadcast over 10 episodes for two weeks from Monday, September 28, to Friday, October 9.

Starting with the first broadcast covering the story of 'King Sejong', the program is scheduled to broadcast a total of 130 episodes, 5 times a week from Monday to Friday for 26 weeks. It unfolds each era and event as a continuous story centered on major figures of Korean history.

The children's history animation , which meets historical figures anew alongside AI technology, will be broadcast every Monday to Friday at 6:30 PM on EBS 1TV starting from Monday, September 28.
