FNC Entertainment Announces Legal Action Against Verbal Abuse and Threats Toward Artists and Staff

FNC Entertainment has announced a strict response policy regarding acts of verbal abuse and threats directed at its affiliated artists and staff.

The company stated on the 28th that it has confirmed cases related to Hi-Fi Un!corn where threatening messages were sent to an individual executive in charge, or where verbal abuse and defamatory videos were distributed toward artists and staff because demands were not met.

FNC Entertainment explained that such actions are serious matters that constitute violations of the Information and Communications Network Act and obstruction of business.

Furthermore, the company warned that in cases of threatening executives or distributing malicious content toward artists, the perpetrators will not only be forcibly expelled from official fan clubs but will also be permanently stripped of their right to participate in all schedules, such as performances and fan meetings hosted by the company.

Additionally, the company added that it is conducting constant monitoring through legal representatives regarding threats that cross the line, insults to personality, and the distribution of malicious fake news, and will take strict civil and criminal legal measures.
