Soyeon, a member of the group (G)I-DLE, appeared on JTBC 'Newsroom' on September 5 to share stories about her first solo full-length album, 'Awesome Life.' Regarding this album, Soyeon expressed her ambition to convey a sense of liberation to listeners through the title track 'I'm Quitting My Job,' stating that it deeply captures the concerns and colors of 29-year-old Jeon Soyeon.
Regarding her working method, she explained that it takes at least one month or more to complete a single song. In particular, she mentioned that the group's hit song 'TOMBOY' was born after putting in effort for nearly a year. Additionally, Soyeon revealed her unique source of inspiration, citing the animation 'Dae Jang Geum.'
Regarding her attitude toward musical activities, she emphasized the value of patience. Soyeon shared her conviction that although she goes through numerous deliberations during the song-making process, if one endures that time, they will eventually emerge victorious. Meanwhile, Soyeon's new album 'Awesome Life' is scheduled to be released through major music platforms on September 7 at 6 PM.
