ITZY Chaeryeong appears on UNICEF YouTube ‘Universe’… Supporting Children's Dreams

UNICEF Korea is introducing a new content series, ‘Universe,’ through its official YouTube channel. As a communicative program that shares the daily lives and concerns of children, Universe is set to capture the journey of children moving toward their dreams.

In the first episode, Chaeryeong, a member of the group ITZY, appeared. Chaeryeong met teenage aspirants dreaming of becoming idols, shared her experiences from her trainee days, and had sincere conversations about anxieties and confidence regarding the future. Chaeryeong stated, “It was a more meaningful time to directly hear the stories of friends running toward the dream of being an idol and to share their concerns,” and added, “I sincerely cheer for children to believe in themselves and confidently unfold their dreams.”

This content is meaningful in that it listens to the voices of children and supports their potential through the talent donation of celebrities. In the future, UNICEF Korea is expected to continue its steps toward promoting children's rights by sequentially releasing stories of children from various backgrounds in each episode.
