Singer Song Ga-in Shines on Local Festival Stage as Ambassador for Her Hometown Jindo
Singer Song Ga-in visited the '2026 Myeongnyang Great Battle Festival' in her hometown of Jindo, Jeollanam-do, to promote the region.
Singer Song Ga-in is actively working as an ambassador to promote her hometown, Jindo, Jeollanam-do. According to Song Ga-in's side on September 17, she recently visited the site of the '2026 Myeongnyang Great Battle Festival' held in Jindo and spent time meeting local residents and fans.
Song Ga-in took the stage for 'Myeongnyang Trot Night', one of the festival programs, and presented diverse music to the audience. On this day, she heated up the atmosphere on-site by passionately singing 'I Am Ga-in', 'A Good Day Like Today', and 'Mother Arirang', as well as her new song 'What If It's Not a Flower'.
In addition to the stage performance, she built meaningful memories by communicating directly with fans through a fan signing event. Fans responded to Song Ga-in's love for her hometown with sharing. Members of Song Ga-in's official fan cafe 'AGAIN' donated 17 million won as hometown love donations and 5 million won as talent development scholarships to Jindo County, respectively.
Song Ga-in continues her special connection with her hometown, having been re-appointed as a promotional model by Jindo County last month. Since winning TV CHOSUN's 'Miss Trot' in 2019, she has received steady love from the public by releasing several hit songs such as 'The Moon of Seoul' and 'Asadal'.
