YG PLUS has established a strategic investor (SI) relationship with FNC Entertainment and will take over the full distribution of FNC's new and old physical albums and digital music starting October 1.
According to YG PLUS on the 22nd, this cooperation will allow the company to secure the music library of major FNC artists, including FTISLAND, CNBLUE, N.Flying, P1Harmony, AMPERS&ONE, AxMxP, and SF9.
YG PLUS expects this partnership to accelerate the expansion of its distribution sales volume and increase its market share in the digital music market.
According to Circle Chart, as of the first half of 2026, YG PLUS holds the number one position in the industry with a 44.5% market share in physical album distribution, and ranks second in digital music distribution with a 25.4% share.
With the full distribution of FNC's new and old music libraries, YG PLUS plans to solidify its position as the number one player in the digital music field. Beyond music distribution, the two companies intend to cooperate comprehensively, covering artist MD production and sales as well as domestic and international concert businesses. YG PLUS stated that it is meaningful to become a strategic partner with FNC, which possesses strong IP influence in the global K-POP market. Starting with the official distribution launch on October 1, YG PLUS aims to re-prove its distribution capabilities and increase the brand value and external credibility of both companies through diversified business cooperation, such as MD and performances. YG PLUS is also strengthening its position as a K-POP IP business platform by advancing its music distribution infrastructure and expanding its global distribution network.
