Jang Han-byul's first concert sells out in 2 minutes... Agency urges caution regarding high-priced scalped tickets
Singer Jang Han-byul's first solo concert, 'THE STAR IS BORN', sold out all sessions within two minutes of ticket sales opening. Following the sell-out, the agency Leon Works warned fans against purchasing tickets through illegal scalping channels that are charging up to five times the original price.
Tickets for singer Jang Han-byul's first solo concert sold out for all sessions within 2 minutes of the reservation start.
This performance, titled 'THE STAR IS BORN', will be held on October 31 at Daeyang Hall, Sejong University in Neungdong, Seoul.
Immediately after the sell-out, attempts to trade tickets at prices up to 900,000 won—more than five times the original price—continued on online second-hand trading sites and SNS.
Jang Han-byul previously recorded a sell-out within 1 minute during a fan meeting last July.
The agency Leon Works stated that ticket transactions significantly exceeding the original price have been identified, even as the so-called 'Anti-ticket-scalping law' has been in effect since August 28, and urged fans to refrain from purchasing tickets through premium trades or illegal transfers rather than official reservation sites. Jang Han-byul will hold the first solo concert 'THE STAR IS BORN' at Daeyang Hall, Sejong University in Neungdong, Seoul, at 1 PM and 6 PM on the 31st, and is scheduled to present ballad, trot, and pop stages along with a live band session.
