Jennie achieves longest stay in Billboard 'Hot 100' Top 10... Breaking BTS record

Jennie of the group BLACKPINK has written new history as a K-pop singer on the US Billboard main single chart, the 'Hot 100'. According to the chart preview announced by Billboard on September 14 (local time), 'Dracula', a song collaborated on by Jennie and the Australian band Tame Impala, recorded 6th place on the 'Hot 100' this week.

The song maintained the same ranking as the previous week, achieving the feat of staying in the Top 10 for 16 consecutive weeks. With this, Jennie has surpassed the previous record of 15 weeks for the longest 'Hot 100' Top 10 entry by a K-pop singer, which was held by BTS's 'Butter'.

According to media reports, 'Dracula' was first released last October as a solo song by Tame Impala. Subsequently, as the remix version featuring Jennie was released this February, it gained great popularity centered around short-form platforms, causing its chart ranking to rise.

Jennie is continuing her active promotions by releasing the digital EP 'Fallen Angel' on August 28. This album includes a total of 3 songs, including the title track of the same name, 'Heaven', and 'Less Than a Lover', which was pre-released last July.
