KATSEYE's 'Animal' reaches 22nd on UK Official Singles Chart... 9th consecutive week on the chart

The group KATSEYE has appeared on the UK Official Singles Chart for nine consecutive weeks.

According to HYBE and Geffen Records on the 26th, in the latest rankings released by the Official Charts Company, 'Animal' recorded 22nd on the 'Official Singles Chart Top 100'.

The song reached a peak of 12th and has remained on the chart for 9 weeks.

The title track 'Hootie Frutti' entered the chart for the 6th consecutive week at 59th, and the third mini-album 'Wild', which contains the two songs, rose to 65th on the 'Official Albums Chart Top 100', maintaining its position in the rankings for the 6th week.

The highest ranking for this album is 2nd. On the United States Billboard, 'Animal' and 'Hootie Frutti' rose to 28th and 91st respectively on the latest 'Hot 100', and 'Wild' recorded 22nd on the 'Billboard 200'. 'Animal' rose three spots from the previous week to 15th on 'Pop Airplay', entering the top 15 for the first time. On Spotify 'Weekly Top Songs Global', 'Animal' recorded 39th and 'Hootie Frutti' recorded 102nd.

KATSEYE was formed through the audition project 'The Debut: Dream Academy' conducted jointly by HYBE and Geffen Records and debuted in the United States in 2024. They won three awards, including New Artist of the Year, at this year's American Music Awards, and have been nominated in four categories, including Best Group, Song of the Summer, Best K-Pop, and Best Choreography, at the '2026 MTV Video Music Awards' held at the Peacock Theater in LA on the 27th (local time).
