KATSEYE appears on the first episode of Season 52 of NBC's 'Saturday Night Live·SNL'

The group KATSEYE took the stage for the first episode of Season 52 of the popular United States NBC program 'Saturday Night Live·SNL'.

In this episode broadcast on the 27th (Korean time), KATSEYE appeared as musical guests and performed 'Animal', a pre-release track from their third EP 'WILD', and the title track 'Hootie Frutti'.

Beyond the performances, they also participated in comedy skits, making their presence felt from their very first appearance. During the 'Animal' stage, they changed the mood midway by taking off black jackets to reveal outfits adorned with feathers and jewels, and for 'Hootie Frutti', they performed on a set reminiscent of a juice shop.

In a comedy segment, they added laughter by appearing as judges for 'Dream Academy: Season 2', a parody of 'The Debut: Dream Academy' which gave birth to them. Billboard viewed this appearance as a milestone in their growth, following their appearances on NBC's 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' and 'Today'.

KATSEYE will challenge for awards in four categories, including 'Best Group', 'Song of Summer', 'Best K-Pop', and 'Best Choreography', at the '2026 MTV Video Music Awards' held on the 28th (Korean time). Subsequently, on December 1st, they will perform at the Dallas·Fort Worth stage, which is the opening performance of the '2026 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour'.
