Singer Kim Da-hyun has returned to the stage after experiencing controversy due to public remarks made by Sim Soo Bong.

Kim Da-hyun attended as an invited singer at the ‘2026 Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur Busking Competition Yunseul Haji’ held on the 26th.

Mentioning that she had prepared Chuseok greetings but was unable to upload a video, she said, “I received great strength because so many people who cherish and love me supported and worried about me due to the sudden incident.”

She continued by expressing her intention to listen closely to the advice of those around her and to reflect more deeply.

Kim Da-hyun said, “Looking at the full moon, I made up my mind to study more and challenge myself vigorously to become a great singer in the future,” and once again asked the audience for their support.

Previously, Sim Soo Bong caused controversy by publicly criticizing Kim Da-hyun, who performed just before her, at a trot festival held in Jinan, Jeonbuk on the 20th. The following day, Sim Soo Bong admitted the remarks were a ‘slip of the tongue’ and apologized. Kim Da-hyun reported that she spoke directly with Sim Soo Bong via telephone and received an apology and comfort.
