The Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation announced that singer Lim Young-woong has delivered 2 million won in prize money earned through the Good Star Singing King Contest. This donation will be used for the care treatment cost support project for families of pediatric patients undergoing long-term treatment.

The care treatment cost support project is a program that provides living expenses such as nursing costs, livelihood expenses, and food expenses to guardians who face difficulties in economic activities due to caring for their children. As there are many families for whom the burden of maintaining daily life feels greater than the treatment costs themselves, such support is expected to be highly felt on the ground.

The cumulative donation delivered by Lim Young-woong through Good Star totals 136,050,000 won. Hong Seung-yoon, a director at the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation, stated, “The difficulties families face in the process of continuing long-term treatment and nursing are very great,” and added, “We will provide meticulous support so that the delivered funds can be of practical help to guardians in focusing on their child's treatment.”
