MONSTA X Sweeps No. 1 on iTunes in 11 Countries with New Album 'The Phase'

MONSTA X has begun full-scale activities by releasing their new album 'The Phase' and appearing on music broadcast stages. This album, released on September 4, rose to 6th place on the worldwide iTunes album chart immediately after release, and as of 7 AM on September 7, it achieved the feat of taking 1st place on the iTunes Top 100 K-pop album charts in 11 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Brazil, and Turkey.

The members further expanded their musical capabilities through this album. JOOHONEY participated in writing the lyrics for the title track 'MAGIC' and included his self-composed songs 'SURVIVOR' and 'Electric Heart', while Hyung-won also captured his own musical color through his self-composed song 'Sweet Night, Sweet Morning'. Shownu and Minhyuk explained that they attempted a new change by moving away from their existing intense image and adding concise yet unique elements.

Kihyun expressed Gratitude for the passionate response from overseas fans and stated that he once again confirmed the reason for standing on stage. Meanwhile, on September 7, the 'MAGIC' remix version featuring Hyung-won as DJ H.ONE was released, and a deluxe album containing existing tracks and the members' voice messages was also released through overseas platforms.
