P1Harmony released their 10th mini album BLOW UP on the 6th, featuring a hyperpop title track and five additional songs. The group will begin comeback activities with an appearance on KBS2 Music Bank following their UNIQUE promotions in March.
P1Harmony released all tracks and the music video for the title track simultaneously at 2 p.m. on the 6th. The new 10th mini album, 'BLOW UP', contains a total of six songs, with the title track 'BLOW UP' composed in the hyperpop genre utilizing the unique sounds of PC Music.
The album tells the story of P1Harmony returning as heroes and completing their hero journey while carrying out missions. The tracklist includes various genres, such as 'element', 'How To', 'MOMENTUM', 't.o.t.y.', and 'Talk That'.
KEEHO explained, "The phrase 'Blow up' means 'to go up' or 'to become a huge hit.' True to this meaning, this album contains the passion to soar even higher this year with good energy." JIUNG added, "This is an album that captures the youth of P1Harmony, who continue to move forward even while hitting obstacles and going through difficult times."
INTAK stated, "The title track 'BLOW UP' greatly embodies the meaning of 'let's move forward and go higher,'" while THEO evaluated, "The melody has become a bit easier and more cheerful. It is music that many people will enjoy without hesitation." SOUL shared, "While you might expect a powerful sound just from the title, it is actually easy to listen to, and the performance involves many movements that follow the rhythm."
JONGSEOB emphasized the charm of the choreography, saying, "It is a song with really fun choreography. It contains a lot of a free feeling, so it will be even more enjoyable on stage." KEEHO noted, "We made many sonic attempts with this album, and it has become more simple so the public can easily understand it." THEO pointed to the challenge of EDM sounds as a new highlight.
P1Harmony concluded their 'UNIQUE' promotions this past March and is continuing a positive momentum, such as with INTAK's 'Hip Song' receiving attention. KEEHO expressed hope that more of the public will listen since this album consists of easy-listening tracks, while INTAK stated that the goal is to make the team widely known. JONGSEOB expressed his ambition to show that they can handle various genres and concepts.
P1Harmony will begin their comeback activities in earnest by appearing on KBS2 'Music Bank' on the 6th.
