The EBS program "Seo Jang-hoon's Millionaire Next Door" will highlight the success story of Park Jeong-jin, a "house factory CEO" with monthly sales of 15 billion won. The episode will reveal everything about the new concept of "modular housing," where homes are selected like shopping items and delivered like parcels.

In the episode airing this Wednesday at 9:55 PM, Park Jeong-jin, who has changed the landscape of home building in South Korea by constructing approximately 3,000 modular homes over 10 years, will appear. Modular housing, which involves "manufacturing" homes in a factory and only assembling them on-site rather than "constructing" them on-site, is gaining global attention as the future of the construction industry. Notably, the modular homes completed in the factory catch the eye with the unique sight of being wrapped in plastic and delivered like courier packages. The company operated by Park Jeong-jin records monthly sales of 15 billion won, with a corporate value reaching 240 billion won.

Around Park Jeong-jin's factory, houses of various sizes and shapes are lined up for display. They are arranged like commercial products so that customers can view and choose them directly. Consequently, Seo Jang-hoon and Jang Ye-won embark on a special "house window shopping" session. A diverse range of modular homes catches their attention, including a 40-pyeong house consisting of a main building, an annex, and an outdoor porch; a compact but substantial 10-pyeong rural stay shelter; a two-story house with an open feeling and a terrace; and a 100-pyeong luxury mansion that represents the pinnacle of luxury. The speed of house production is also beyond imagination. Park Jeong-jin revealed that it takes about 4 hours to complete one 40-pyeong house, while a 10-pyeong house can be finished in just 1 hour. Furthermore, because they are mass-produced in a factory, modular homes are cheaper than conventional houses. The prices of the modular homes that stimulate Seo Jang-hoon's shopping instincts will be revealed during the broadcast.

Following this, Seo Jang-hoon and Jang Ye-won head inside the house factory, which boasts a scale of approximately 6,000 pyeong, equivalent to three soccer fields. The first thing that catches the eye is a state-of-the-art automated line where 41 robots have been deployed instead of people. They are speechless at the power of the robots, which complete in just 4 hours what 5 carpenters would take 20 days to do, even performing precise nailing. A 600kg wall, which would require 10 people working together, can be easily flipped using special machinery. Of course, there are processes that require a human touch. After the walls are made, during the assembly process, doors, waterproofing, electrical wiring, lighting, and tiles are added along the line, transforming the modules from empty boxes into houses. As they tour the 6,000-pyeong factory, Seo Jang-hoon exclaims, "It is truly a new world" at the sight of a house being completed during a single circuit of the factory.

Meanwhile, there is one thing Park Jeong-jin, who is leading a new paradigm in home building, cannot give up: apartments. Born in 1976 and aged 50, he is still single, stating, "I cannot easily leave the apartment because I think my future spouse might not prefer rural houses or might want to live in an apartment." Waiting for a spouse to share his life with, he lives alone in a 61-pyeong penthouse with 4 rooms and 3 bathrooms. Last year, he joined a marriage information company and has been introduced to 18 people so far, but has not met a suitable partner. When Park Jeong-jin confesses his ideal type, sighs erupt on set, and Seo Jang-hoon eventually proposes a public marriage proposal for him. Park Jeong-jin's honest marriage stories and the identity of his ideal type, which surprised everyone, can be seen on EBS's "Seo Jang-hoon's Millionaire Next Door" on Wednesday, October 28, at 9:55 PM.
