Rothy is returning with a new EP.
According to her agency, Rothy will release her new EP 'FLAT' through various online music sites at 6 PM on the 8th.
This album contains a total of five songs, including the previously pre-released 'Don't Be', 'First Train', 'Sweetest', 'Back to Me', and the new song 'Alphabet'.
The title track 'Alphabet' is a disco-pop track that combines a bouncy bass with a smooth melody, telling the story of writing down one's feelings letter by letter toward someone who keeps catching one's attention. Combined with Rothy's signature deep vocals and cheerful rhythm, it conveys the excitement and subtle emotions of falling in love.
Producer HAHM was in charge of composition and arrangement, and Jo Yun-gyeong and HAHM participated in the lyrics. Rothy also released a music video teaser for the title track through her official SNS and YouTube channel. In the video, she revealed a playful and lovely atmosphere with scenes of cupping her face with both hands or puffing out her cheeks.
This EP is an album where Rothy is credited with writing the lyrics for all songs. Born in 1999, Rothy has showcased various genres including R&B since her debut in 2017.
