Entering her 9th year since debut, (G)I-DLE's Soyeon released her 1st full album 'Awesome Life' on September 7, letting go of the pressure regarding achievements and infusing it with her own unique color. This album consists of a total of 8 songs, including the title track 'I'm Quitting My Job', and prioritized Soyeon's personal fun and free musical attempts over mainstream popularity.

According to media reports, the title track 'I'm Quitting My Job' is gaining empathy from office workers by borrowing the intro of the band Ex's 'Please Take Care of Me'. Additionally, the included track 'I Hate Vegetables Song' has garnered attention as its performance video during the Waterbomb Festival Sokcho performance recorded 1.26 million views. Through this album, Soyeon revealed her musical convictions by candidly capturing honest stories, including the use of slang and unconventional music video directing.
