[Korea Social Welfare Journal] Reporter Lee Jeong-mok=The first release of 'The Remarried Empress' is scheduled for this coming November 4th. This work deals with the events that unfold when Navier, the Empress of the Eastern Empire, is notified of a divorce by Emperor Sovieshu.

Shin Min-a takes on the role of Navier, and Ju Ji-hoon plays Emperor Sovieshu, who chooses to sever his relationship with the Empress.

'The Remarried Empress' is a live-action drama produced based on the webtoon, which recorded approximately 2.97 billion global views as of July this year. The trailer features the grand appearance of the Eastern Empire, with the noble figure of Empress Navier appearing in the background. In the trailer, although Sovieshu swears that his only wife is Navier, the appearance of a new character, Rashta, causes a fissure in their relationship. As Lee Se-young, who plays Rashta, receives the attention of Sovieshu, the story develops into a complex palace scandal.

In the midst of this, Prince Heinrich of the Western Kingdom appears, unfolding a new development. Heinrich, played by Lee Jong-suk, comforts Navier by her side, and as the relationship between the two deepens, it stimulates the jealousy and anger of Sovieshu. Ultimately, Sovieshu declares a divorce to Navier, and Navier accepts this while demanding approval for remarriage.

Character posters have also been released, maximizing the charm of each character. Navier's strong choice leaves a powerful impression on the audience, and her appearance of not losing her dignity as an Empress gathers anticipation. The poster of Sovieshu, sitting on the throne and symbolizing absolute power, foreshadows Ju Ji-hoon's powerful acting. At the same time, Lee Jong-suk's Heinrich poster emphasizes his charming atmosphere and hints at a new relationship with Navier. Rashta's poster symbolizes her changed life and stimulates the curiosity of the audience.

'The Remarried Empress' presents a new direction for the romance fantasy genre in South Korea and is scheduled to be broadcast worldwide through Disney+.
