Yoon Jong Shin to release ‘One of Them’ on the 30th… Singing of Excitement

Singer Yoon Jong Shin will release the September 2026 issue of ‘Monthly Yoon Jong-shin’ titled ‘One of Them’ on the 30th.

This song depicts a heart that calmly accepts things instead of resentment or disappointment, even if the other person does not look at them.

It also contains an attitude of cherishing the intense emotions embraced thanks to the other person, regardless of how the conclusion turns out.

Yoon Jong Shin explained that this song follows the same narrative trajectory as the February 2025 ‘Monthly Yoon Jong-shin’ issue ‘Attraction’ and the October 2025 ‘Monthly Yoon Jong-shin’ issue ‘Misunderstanding’.

He said he drew inspiration from words he wrote down while having drinks with a junior a few years ago, and while listening to the junior's worries about a person they like—specifically, "the junior felt they were just 'One of Them' to that person and thus felt they could not progress the relationship"—he shared his thoughts as someone who has lived a bit more, and those words became the lyrics for this song.

He added, "What I told the junior at that time was to send praise to that un-dried heart that is capable of liking someone. In a world where the majority of people live mundanely, I thought that feeling excited and anxious because of someone like this might be a tremendous stroke of luck. I believe that no matter the result, the feeling of having liked someone is something unique that cannot be replaced by anything else."
