Yoon Ye-won to Hold Solo Concert at Chiang Rai International School, CRIS in Thailand on September 25

Korean popera singer Yoon Ye-won held the ‘YOON YEWON CONCERT’ at Chiang Rai International School, CRIS in Thailand on September 25 at 1:20 PM.

This performance was made possible by the invitation of Chairman Cho Tae-hyun of Happy City Golf & Resort in Chiang Rai, Thailand. Chairman Cho also serves as the chairman of the board for Chiang Rai International School, CRIS, the performance venue.

The performance is hosted by Chiang Rai International School, CRIS and sponsored by Happy City Golf & Resort. A school official stated that this will be an opportunity for students, faculty, and local residents to experience a close encounter between high-level classical vocal music and popular music.

Chairman Cho Tae-hyun said that music is a language that transcends borders to connect hearts, and he invited Yoon Ye-won in the hope that students and local residents would create special memories through beautiful songs. Yoon Ye-won expressed her gratitude for being invited to such a meaningful stage and said she wants to convey joy and comfort through music to the students and audience in Chiang Rai, Thailand.

The performance venue, Chiang Rai International School, CRIS, is a school accredited by the United States WASC and operates based on the California academic system. Established in 2010 in Chiang Rai, Thailand, it is the first international school in the region, operating from kindergarten to Grade 12 (G12), with 372 students enrolled this year. As a school where Thai students and international students learn together, it also conducts various educational activities such as music, sports, and golf programs. The sponsor, Happy City Golf & Resort, is a resort located on a site of approximately 700,000 pyeong (1,200 rai) at the foot of the mountains in Chiang Rai, Thailand, and features four 9-hole courses totaling a 36-hole championship course, a 36-hole park golf course, a two-story 60-tee driving range, condo-style residences, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness, and a sauna. The school belongs to the same foundation as this resort and operates a golf program under the international school, providing a process to prepare for admission to universities in the United States and overseas by combining academics with golf training.
