On the 28th, her agency SM Entertainment released an official statement revealing that they have already proceeded with criminal complaints regarding the relevant posts.

The agency has been collecting evidence of illegal posts through fan reports and continuous monitoring, and plans to respond strongly without any leniency or settlement. Furthermore, they warned that the production of illegal synthetic materials, as well as the act of sharing or redistributing them, may constitute defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act and a violation of the Sexual Violence Punishment Act.
