EBS 'Space Gonggam' will color the autumn night with deep jazz melodies.

In the EBS 'Space Gonggam' broadcasting today (23rd), under the subtitle 'Dive into Jazz', stages will be presented by pianist Lim Mi-jung, who represents the Korean jazz scene, and the world-renowned band Yonglee & the Doltangjas.

The first protagonist to take the stage in this broadcast is pianist Lim Mi-jung, who has steadily walked the path of jazz for over 20 years and won the 2026 Korean Music Awards 'Best Jazz Instrumental Album'. Having recently released her 6th album 'Imu', she will take the stage with her friend of 22 years, trumpet player Nadje Noordhuis.

As Lim Mi-jung predicted perfect synergy, stating, "It is most thrilling when the breathing with the performer is perfectly in sync," the two, who can communicate with just a glance, are expected to showcase the essence of traditional jazz through tracks such as 'Imu', 'Sketches of Spring', and 'Subtle Notice' from her Korean Music Awards-winning album 'Imu'.

In the following stage, 'Yonglee & the Doltangjas', who won the 2026 German Jazz Prize in the 'International Debut Album of the Year' category, foreshadow the innovation of jazz. They are newly expanding the musical territory of jazz with unconventional music that combines rock and electronic sounds with jazz.

They are expected to deliver the 'ongoing' jazz unique to Yonglee & the Doltangjas through 'Pay Day', an original song dealing with the transparent labor of musicians who do not receive fair value, as well as 'Six Seven' and 'Fluorescent Light', which features vocalist Jeon Song-i as a special guest.

The live performances of the two teams, spanning tradition and innovation, can be watched on EBS 'Space Gonggam' tonight (23rd) at 10:50 PM.
