My Grandchildren Are Here! Every day is a new world! Since it is their first time in Peru

*Broadcast Date/Time: Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 9:55 PM, EBS1

The full-scale cohabitation life of grandparents and grandchildren begins on the other side of the world in Peru! From riding local buses for the first time to the warm atmosphere of the markets, everything they see is a new world! Meanwhile, for Haru (3 years old), whose Korean is lacking, cousin Si-won (10 years old) opens her own 'Korean school,' but faces difficulties from the very start due to the mischievous student Haru. Will the older sister's Korean lesson be a success? The next day, an unexpected incident occurs for the family as they head to Pachacamac, which holds thousands of years of history. During the enjoyable outing, Si-won suddenly bursts into tears! Eventually, the whole family has to step in to comfort Si-won... Additionally, there is a mysterious local food that appears on the table and freezes everyone in their tracks! The unpredictable life of the six family members in Peru unfolds, with new incidents occurring wherever they go.

K-Grandma's first challenge with a Peruvian bus! The story behind her eyes widening at the scenery so different from South Korea?!

Haru's family heads out to find a local market! Following the guidance of Dad Matti, they board a bus, and as soon as it departs, Grandma's eyes widen. From vehicles naturally changing lanes on roads crowded with cars to buses running with their doors open, a series of scenes rarely seen in South Korea unfold! Facing the Peruvian traffic scene for the first time, Grandma grips the handle tightly and even jokes, "I should have taken a taxi..."

K-Family appears in a Peruvian market! Si-won's 'frustration explodes' due to Haru's sudden behavior?!

At the market they arrive at after many twists and turns, the atmosphere changes 180 degrees. Grandma tastes the sample fruits offered by merchants one by one, recalling the warmth of traditional Korean markets! Next, the family fills their stomachs with market sandwiches enjoyed by locals. However, the peace is short-lived as a sudden situation arises when Haru abruptly leaves his spot! While Dad Matti and Grandma chase after Haru, Si-won is suddenly left all alone. Si-won becomes increasingly upset, feeling that all the attention is focused only on Haru. Will their outing to the Peruvian market be able to end with smiles?

Capture Haru, who has(?) forgotten Korean! Cousin Si-won's chaotic Korean lesson

When Haru stayed in South Korea for 9 months, the cousins lived together and communicated little by little in Korean. However, since Haru returned to Peru, opportunities to use Korean have decreased, and the conversation between the two is not what it used to be. Si-won (10 years old), wanting to speak in Korean with Haru again, prepared a special lesson! She even transformed into a one-day teacher for Haru by making a 'Korean school' out of a large box. But the lesson is a series of obstacles from the start! To every word Si-won teaches, the mischievous Haru gives a nonsensical answer, and Grandpa joins in by constantly interfering from the side. The novice teacher Si-won's patience begins to run out! Will Si-won succeed in communicating in Korean with Haru again?

An outing to ancient ruins with three generations: What is the story behind Si-won bursting into tears in the middle of the desert?

This time, the whole family heads to the ancient ruins of 'Pachacamac' on the outskirts of Lima to make special memories. Grandma and Grandpa continuously marvel at the exotic scenery spread across the vast desert! But the harmonious atmosphere freezes in an instant?! With a single step taken carelessly by Grandpa, the headband that Si-won had cherished since before the trip gets damaged. Suppressing her frustration, Si-won eventually bursts into tears, and Grandpa, who accidentally caused the 'accident,' breaks into a sweat trying to comfort his granddaughter. Just then, Haru notices his older sister crying and approaches cautiously... Will the mischievous Haru be able to soothe Si-won's heart?

It is their first time having traditional Peruvian food! What is the identity of the food that stirred the K-Family?

If they met the long history of Peru at Pachacamac, now it is time to experience the taste of Peru! After finishing their outing, the six family members visit a restaurant in the city to taste local food. As expected of a country of gastronomy, a variety of foods such as chicharron and pachamanca appear, beginning a full-scale Peruvian gourmet exploration. However, a moment later, when today's protagonist is placed on the table, the family's eyes widen! Facing the unfamiliar visual, Si-won is surprised, saying, "There are eyes and teeth here!" and even goes as far as covering both eyes. On the other hand, Haru shows an extreme opposite reaction, continuing his skillful mukbang as if it were nothing... What is the identity of the traditional Peruvian food that stirred the K-Family?

EBS 'Every day is a new world! Since it is their first time in Peru' episode will be broadcast on EBS1 on Thursday, October 15 at 9:55 PM, and can be rewatched on the EBS website.
