Singer Hwang Young-woong donates 1.5 million won from Good Star August King of Singers prize to children with disabilities

Singer Hwang Young-woong, bolstered by the support of his fans, has delivered 1.5 million won to the Eastern Social Welfare Society for the rehabilitation treatment costs of children and adolescents with disabilities. This donation was prepared from the prize money won in the August King of Singers competition held on the donation platform ‘Good Star,’ and it will be used to help developmental rehabilitation treatment for children who find it difficult to continue treatment due to economic hardships.

Hwang Young-woong and his fandom have consistently practiced sharing for children waiting for adoption and vulnerable groups through the Eastern Social Welfare Society. Including this donation, the cumulative amount donated by Hwang Young-woong to date reaches a total of 63.78 million won. Meanwhile, Hwang Young-woong will continue to meet with fans by holding the ‘2nd Paradise Grand Festival’ at the Suwon Indoor Gymnasium from September 18th to 19th.
