IU to Release New Single 'From This Star' on the 10th... The First Step Toward Her 6th Studio Album

Singer IU will release her new digital single 'From This Star' through various music platforms at 6 PM on the 10th. This is her first new song in about a year since 'Bye, Summer' was released last September, and this single includes two title tracks: 'From This Star' and 'Dear my crazy soulmate'.

This new song is a pre-release album that offers a glimpse into the musical direction of her upcoming 6th studio album. IU directly participated in writing the lyrics for both songs to convey her own story. In the music video for 'Dear my crazy soulmate' released alongside the songs, IU performs alongside actors Shim Dal-gi and Kim Young-ok, and the music video for the other title track, 'From This Star', is scheduled to be released additionally on the 16th at midnight.
