Jung Dong-won's cumulative donations exceed 60 million won... supporting children with pediatric cancer

Singer Jung Dong-won continued his tradition of sharing by donating his prize money from the Good Star King of Singers competition to support children with pediatric cancer and rare incurable diseases. The Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation announced that the 1 million won prize money delivered in Jung Dong-won's name will be used to support medical expenses for children with pediatric cancer.

With this donation, Jung Dong-won's cumulative donation amount has reached a total of 60.31 million won. Despite Jung Dong-won's current hiatus while serving in the Marine Corps, the fact that fans are steadily collecting funds to continue donation activities is evaluated as an example showing that fandom culture has evolved beyond simple cheering to creating social value.
