The group KATSEYE has announced the postponement of performances during their North American tour to allow member Megan to recover from a concussion. On the 6th, the agency stated via official social media that Megan is currently recovering and a decision was made to postpone the scheduled performances in Chicago and Minneapolis.
The postponed shows were part of "The Wildworld Tour," which were scheduled to take place at the United Center in Chicago on the 5th and the Target Center in Minneapolis on the 7th. Previously, a performance at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on the 3rd was also postponed approximately 30 minutes before it was set to begin due to Megan's health issues.
On her social media, Megan shared, "I am focusing on my recovery so that I can get back on stage. I wanted to proceed with the scheduled performances, but I received medical advice that I must return safely after fully recovering," while asking fans for apologies and support.
The other members, Daniela, Lara, and Yoonchae, stated, "We looked for ways to continue the performances with just the three of us excluding Megan, but it could not be realized due to various circumstances. Our desire to stand before fans is the same," as they urged for Megan's speedy recovery.
KATSEYE was formed through the 2023 global audition "The Debut: Dream Academy," jointly conducted by HYBE and Geffen Records, and released their first single "Debu" in June 2024.
