KBS Epic Drama 'Great King Munmu' Script Reading Site Revealed... Starring Lee Hyun-wook, Jang Hyuk, Kim Kang-woo, and Park Seong-ung

KBS 2TV's epic drama 'Great King Munmu', scheduled to air this November, has announced the beginning of full-scale production by revealing the script reading site attended by the main cast. This work deals with the narratives of leaders struggling for victory amidst the turbulent Three Kingdoms period and 600 years of continuous warfare.

The script reading saw a large number of talented actors participating, including Lee Hyun-wook (as Kim Beop-min), Jang Hyuk (as Yeon Gaesomun), Kim Kang-woo (as Kim Chun-chu), and Park Seong-ung (as Kim Yu-sin), as well as Jung Woong-in, Kim Do-hyun, Baek Sung-hyun, Yang Hyun-min, Oh Seung-hoon, Lee Ji-hoon, Park Myung-hoon, Im Ho, Choi Su-rin, and Jo Seong-ha. The cast members immersed themselves in their respective characters, delivering passionate performances that overwhelmed the site.

The lead actors shared their special ambitions for the work. Lee Hyun-wook, playing Kim Beop-min, explained that 'Great King Munmu' simultaneously contains the meaning of the king who unified the Three Kingdoms and the meanings of wise 'Mun' (civil/literary) and strong 'Mu' (military). Jang Hyuk, playing Yeon Gaesomun, stated that he focused on the character's choices and emotional lines, while Park Seong-ung, playing Kim Yu-sin, expressed anticipation for playing a well-known figure to the public.
