Director Kim Kyung-rok worked at film sites and publishing companies before entering the professional course in the School of Film at Universidad Nacional de Artes de Corea to study directing. He is known to have personally handled directing, cinematography, editing, and sound. The fact that an independent film platform is consecutively holding solo director showcases is interpreted as a trend to group and present the creative worlds of individual creators. However, from the audience's perspective, the success or failure will likely depend on how clearly the individuality of each work is conveyed.
Director Kim Kyung-rok said, “Stories that are nothing special to me tend to linger for a long time,” and “I have been making films about those moments when, after time has passed, you find yourself chuckling alone.” He continued, “I hope the audience discovers one film among these six that they like.”
