Movie ‘Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub’ climbs back to No. 1… Swings shares thoughts on his first film appearance

On September 29, Swings posted photos on his social media of himself in makeup during the filming of the movie ‘Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub’. Directed by Choi Kook-hee, this work was released on September 23 and marks Swings' first film appearance.

Along with the photos, Swings wrote, “Don't you ever give up on your dreams.” He added, “It's a secret that I wrote it in English because I was afraid it might be cringey if I wrote it in Korean.”

Swings played the role of Abraham in the work. He left a strong impression by playing a character with full-body tattoos.

He previously revealed on social media that he had started removing his tattoos for his dream of becoming an actor, but after receiving a film offer, he ended up playing a character with tattoos. At the time, he wrote, “It's quite ironic. I started removing my tattoos because of my dream of being an actor. Then (thankfully) I got cast in a movie, and immediately I'm acting as a character with tattoos. No complaints. It's just fun.”

According to media reports, ‘Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub’ climbed back up the charts after its release to reach number one at the box office. As of September 28, it has drawn 68,913 viewers, and with a cumulative audience of 901,929, it is approaching the 1 million mark. Along with the success of his first film appearance, Swings has showcased his transition from singer to actor.
