According to data from the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie ticket sales, director Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' recorded 1st place at the domestic box office on the 9th, drawing 76,409 viewers in a single day. Maintaining its top position for 36 days since its release, the cumulative number of viewers for this film has been tallied at 10,268,421.
The 2nd place was taken by 'Obsession', which gathered 31,197 viewers, and 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' rose to 3rd place with 13,647 viewers. The romance-thriller 'The Drama', which was released on this day, entered the rankings in 4th place, recording 12,091 viewers.
Meanwhile, 'Hope' re-entered the top 10 in 5th place by drawing 5,318 viewers, and 'The Journey to Gyeong-ju' remained in 9th place, recording 3,476 viewers. 'Portrait of a Family', which recorded 4th place the previous day, was pushed out of the top 10 rankings on this day.
