Blackpink's Rosé Rejects 10-Billion-Won Chinese Advertisement Offer, Proving Global Pop Star Status

According to media reports, Rosé of the group Blackpink recently received an advertising model proposal from a famous Chinese tea beverage brand worth approximately $7.2 million, which is about 10 billion Korean won, but she turned it down. Separately, it is reported that Rosé discussed a collaboration with a famous champagne brand for about one year, but the deal ultimately fell through due to differences in opinion regarding the bottle design.

Industry analysts suggest that this choice is possible because Rosé has secured a firm position as an independent global pop artist beyond being a simple idol member following the worldwide success of 'APT.'. She is evaluated as having gained the initiative to selectively choose advertisements considering her own brand value.

Meanwhile, pop star Bruno Mars, who worked with Rosé on 'APT.', drew attention by making joking remarks about Rosé in a recent interview. Bruno Mars is scheduled to perform in Korea at the Goyang Stadium main stadium on May 21, 22, 25, and 26 of next year.
