Actor Byeon Woo-seok's agency announces strong response to sasaeng damage: "Legal action without warning"

VARO Entertainment, the agency of actor Byeon Woo-seok, has announced strong legal action against the indiscriminate privacy infringement acts of sasaeng perpetrators targeting the artist. Through official SNS on August 19, the agency announced that acts threatening the artist's safety are continuing.

According to the agency, cases of visiting filming sites, airports, or other schedule locations that have not been officially announced, or unauthorizedly following the movement routes of the artist and the staff in charge, are being frequently identified. Furthermore, acts of invading private spaces such as the residences of managers and officials, or inappropriately acquiring and sharing personal information, are also occurring.

VARO Entertainment requested, “Please refrain from visiting all schedules and movement sites other than the schedules where fan participation is officially announced.” They continued to strongly request the immediate cessation of all actions that infringe upon the artist's safety and privacy.

The agency plans to proceed with legal action regarding the problematic acts in the future. In particular, they emphasized that if repeated or serious infringement acts are identified, they will take immediate action without a separate warning process.
