CJ Donors Camp conducts training for 260 experienced teachers at child welfare facilities nationwide

CJ Donors Camp announced on the 28th that it is conducting the ‘2026 CJ Donors Camp 2nd Teacher Training’ for 260 experienced teachers at child welfare facilities nationwide until October 1. This year, reflecting the fact that required training content differs depending on teacher experience, the program was operated in two parts: the 1st training for new and junior teachers and the 2nd training for experienced teachers.

The 2nd training will be held in Seoul on September 28, Yeosu on the 29th, and Daegu on October 1, and is composed of advanced courses for teachers with more than 5 years of experience. The training content is structured with highly practical topics for the field, such as case-based guidance strategies for children with ADHD and borderline intelligence, child guidance following changes in the AI and digital environment, digital and game literacy, and legal issues in care settings. Case-centered lectures and small group discussions will also be conducted to allow teachers to share their respective experiences and seek ways to apply them in the field.

CJ Donors Camp has been reflecting educational demands through preliminary surveys, recognizing that the roles required of teachers in care settings are expanding. As children's emotional and behavioral characteristics become more diverse and the digital environment changes rapidly, the content of teacher training is also trending toward more detailed segmentation. In this regard, this program is seen as moving in a direction to increase field responsiveness rather than being simple lecture-style education.

At the Seoul training on the 28th, Professor Kim Sang-gyun of Kyung Hee University will lecture on the topic, “In the AI era, what should teachers by the children's side do?” Following this, CJ Donors Camp plans to operate ‘CJ Donors Camp Teacher Camp Jeongseon 2026’ for 100 teachers from child welfare facilities nationwide in Jeongseon, Gangwon-do, from October 29 to 31. This program consists of special lectures by communication experts, self-care, and networking programs.

CJ Donors Camp is the representative brand of the CJ Welfare Foundation, established in 2005, and has approximately 4,000 local children's centers and group homes, among other child welfare facilities nationwide, as members. Since 2006, it has continued to provide competency reinforcement training and recharging programs for teachers at child welfare facilities, with a cumulative total of approximately 4,400 teachers participating through last year. An official from the CJ Welfare Foundation stated, “It is important to provide opportunities for teachers to continuously learn the competencies needed in the field and increase their professionalism,” adding, “We will support them so that the growth of teachers can lead to better education and care for children.”
