Contract Marriage stars Kang Jeong-hwan and Jeong Yu-jin clash during seal search

Seattle-based couple Kang Jeong-hwan and Jeong Yu-jin experienced conflict during a seal-hunting expedition in the 7th episode of 'Contract Marriage', airing Monday the 9th. The argument arose after Jeong-hwan ventured into the open sea alone and later insisted on searching for seals without prior notice to a hungry Yu-jin.

To see seals, Jeong-hwan and Yu-jin attempted kayaking in the sea in front of their home. Jeong-hwan ventured further out into the open sea, leaving Yu-jin behind; in a heart-to-heart interview, he stated that he maintained a principle of "going at one's own pace" even with his ex-wife if they did not get along. Conflict arose later when Yu-jin, who had skipped breakfast, found herself hungry as Jeong-hwan suddenly insisted on searching for seals in a park without prior notice.

While in the car heading to a restaurant, Yu-jin remarked, "I came out thinking we were going to eat," to which Jeong-hwan countered, "It's different here than in South Korea." Yu-jin confessed, "I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed for now."
